We use cookies only to facilitate the use and navigation of our Services and to remember you and your preferences in case you revisit our Services in the future and to conduct range measurement. Information collected relates to technical information e.g. your browser, a timestamp and a unique identifier. Almost all browsers allow blocking of cookies in their entirety, removal of existing cookies or warning to prevent the placing of a cookie. You can find more information on this functionality in the documentation or in the help file of your browser. Please note that blocking of cookies might impede your use of our Services. If you are a resident of the EU or other jurisdiction that requires us to obtain your consent to use cookies on our Services, then you will have an opportunity to manage your cookie preferences on such Services; except that certain cookies are essential to enable core site functionality, and you cannot choose to disable those cookies.

Just like any other usage information we collect, this information allows us to improve the Services and customize your online experience, and otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. Our Services do not support Do Not Track requests at this time, which means that we collect information about your online activity both while you are using the Services and after you leave our Services.
  • Analytics. We use analytics applications, including “Google Analytics”, to collect information about use of the Services. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit a website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they visited prior to coming to a website. We use the information obtained from these applications only to improve our Services and our product and service offerings. The information generated about your use of our Services will be transferred and saved to the vendor’s server in the United States. For Google Analytics, within Member States of the European Union or other signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, Google will first shorten your IP address. In exceptional cases, the full IP address will be transferred to a Google server in the United States to be shortened there. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt-out of Google Analytics tracking by visiting https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/
  • Web Beacons. A web beacon, including tracking pixels, is a small graphic image or other web programming code, also known as “1×1 GIF” or “clear GIF.” We may download web beacons to Your Device when you access our Services or through email messages that we send to you. Web beacons are used to improve your experience on our Services. Web beacons also help us to understand whether users read email messages and click on the links contained within those messages so that we can deliver relevant content and messages. Our web beacons may collect certain of your contact information (e.g., the email address associated with an email message that contains a web beacon).
  • Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is a programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with our Services, such as which links within our Services you click on, which type of browser or device you use (e.g. mobile or desktop version). Information for California Residents / Your California Privacy Rights Notice

Scope.  This section applies only to California residents.  It describes how we collect, use, and share Personal Information of California residents in our capacity as a “business” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and their rights with respect to that Personal Information.  For purposes of this section, the term “Personal Information” has the meaning given in the CCPA but does not include information exempted from the scope of the CCPA.  In some cases, we may provide a different privacy notice to certain categories of California residents, such as job applicants, in which case that notice will apply instead of this section. For personal information that we may have because a business has engaged us as an identity verification and fraud prevention service provider, you need to contact that business.

Your California Privacy Rights. As a California resident, you have the rights listed below. However, these rights are not absolute, and in certain cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.

  • Information.  You can request the following information about how we have collected and used your Personal Information during the past 12 months:
  • The categories of Personal Information that we have collected.
  • The categories of sources from which we collected Personal Information.
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting and/or selling Personal Information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share Personal Information.
  • The categories of Personal Information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose.
  • The categories of third parties to whom the Personal Information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose.
  • Access.  You can request a copy of the Personal Information that we have collected about you during the past 12 months.
  • Deletion.  You can ask us to delete the Personal Information that we have collected from you.
  • Opt-out of sales.  You can opt out of our interest-based advertising, which is considered a “sale” of Personal Information under California law.
  • Opt-in.  If we know that you are 13-15 years of age, and we elect to do business with children in this age bracket (we currently do not), we will ask for your affirmative authorization to sell your Personal Information before we do so.
  • Nondiscrimination.  You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination as prohibited by the CCPA.

Right to Information, Access and Deletion. You may submit requests to exercise your right to information, access or deletion by calling us toll free at (844) DATA-400, or via email to privacy@thedqb.com.

Notice of Right to Opt-Out of the “Sale” of Your Personal Information.  Like many companies, we use services that help deliver interest-based ads to you.  Our use of some of these services may be classified under California law as a “sale” of your Personal Information to the advertising partners that provide the services because they collect information from our users (e.g., device data and online activity data) to help them serve ads more likely to interest you.  You can request to opt-out of this “sale” of your personal information here: Do Not Sell My Personal Information.

Verification.  In order to respond to your request and to ensure we are dealing with a true and honest person, we will need to verify your identity.  We also reserve the right to confirm your California residency.  To verify your identity, we may require government identification, a declaration under penalty of perjury or other information.  Your authorized agent may make a request on your behalf upon our verification of the agent’s identity and our receipt of a copy of a valid power of attorney given to your authorized agent pursuant to California Probate Code Sections 4000-4465.  If you have not provided your agent with such a power of attorney, you must provide your agent with written and signed permission to exercise your CCPA rights on your behalf, provide the information we request to verify your identity, and provide us with confirmation that you have given the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
